Learn how the iPad app Subtext can transform curriculum at all levels, allowing students to connect to and discuss literature and PDF articles in real-time. This app engages students in reading in innovative and exciting ways, and allows teachers to reach their students on many levels. We will look at two units from a sixth grade English classroom -- focusing on novel studies of The Giver and Lions of Little Rock -- and discuss application across other disciplines as well. This presentation applies to teachers and administrators currently using or considering adding iPads in the classroom.
